2004年，The Bosshoss 在柏林成立。最开始他们用Country & Western 的风格翻唱一些经典曲目，他们头顶斯泰森毡帽（一种阔边高顶毡帽），身着无袖牛仔背心，脸上挂着一副巨大的太阳镜，手上甩着威士忌瓶子，大喊着“Yeehaw !”，一副老美国牛仔的做派。他们说：“我们的音乐风格叫做country trash punk rock（乡村垃圾朋克摇滚）。”
